The Patients First Foundation is committed to providing patients with tools and technology to navigate the healthcare system effectively and advocate for themselves. Our impact will be felt in three critical areas:

1. Patient-Controlled Healthcare Records
Patients will have full access to their medical records, eliminating the need to request access and enabling seamless sharing with any provider. This aligns with TEFCA and IAS initiatives and will remove the redundant paperwork that burdens patients today.

2. AI-Assisted Advocacy 
We are developing an AI-powered patient assistant to support patients at the point of care, helping them understand their diagnoses, confirm tests, and evaluate treatment plans. This will enable patients to advocate for themselves confidently, ensuring informed decision-making.

3. Evaluating the Healthcare System through a Patient Lens
Every aspect of healthcare will be evaluated through a simple lens: Does it benefit the patient? Using this binary approach, we will hold insurance carriers, pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, and other stakeholders accountable for patient outcomes.
